At Acumen Consulting, we’re proud to provide you with updates from our partner 3CX, the number one Windows-based IP PBX.

The past few months have been exciting for 3CX. They’ve introduced the 3CX 15.5 Update 1, along with a number of other updates to the smartphone clients, Call Flow Designer, formerly known as VAD.

The 3CX 15.5 update introduces a few new, exciting features. If you haven’t updated already, we’ve got you covered.

New Smartphone Clients

The newest 3CX client for iOS gives you an even better user experience with advancements in the presence feature, a more simplistic account settings menu and updated language translations.

A new BETA of the Android client has also been released. The new feature allows you to change your custom status from your profile picture and offers better capability to edit numbers in the dial pad.

Call Flow Designer’s (CFD/VAD) Long-Awaited Release

The Voice Application Designer (VAD) has been entirely redesigned and renamed Call Flow Designer (CFD).

Call Flow Designer is ready for download. After releasing the RC and gathering feedback from customers, the final version includes some new elements for even easier use.

Please note that version 14 is now end of life so support is no longer available.
